Circus arts have reached a new level of respect in Brazil. On 11 March 2026 traditional circus was included into the national inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The World Circus Federation warmly congratulates the Brazilian Circus Community for its outstanding and exemplary hard work to reach this important recognition.
