Kenneth Feld, owner of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus®, also known as The Greatest Show On Earth®, was named “Ambassador of Circus” by the Fédération Mondiale du Cirque under the patronage of H.S.H. Princess Stephanie of Monaco.

Images portraying the cultural and historical importance of Circus were published on the World Digital Library for the first time today. Culminating a two year effort, the coordinated submission of circus material by leading museums and institutions with important circus collections is the first such “group” publication in the World Digital Library.

25 February 20132013 Photo Contest Theme Announced; World Circus Day Celebrations Registered in Ten Countries
The Fédération Mondiale du Cirque announced today the theme for its annual Photography Contest as: “Circus: Strength, Balance, Courage and Grace!” By popular demand, the Photo Contest will include both black and white and color photography.
